ECOFIX TILES ADHESIVE
GC Ecofix (T1 Grey) is a polymer-based tile adhesive designed for fixing ceramic tiles, porous clay tiles, high-porosity tiles, and quarry tiles of standard sizes. Ideal for indoor applications, it is suitable for both wall and floor installations on cementitious substrates.
This adhesive performs well on horizontal and vertical surfaces and is recommended for interior walls up to a height of 3 meters. It is suitable for use in dry and light wet areas, making it a reliable choice for residential and commercial tile fixing.
It offers an approximate coverage of 5 to 5.5 square meters per 20 kg bag at 3 mm bed thickness, ensuring efficient and cost-effective application.

Application & Usage Guidelines
Area of Applications
Suitable for flooring and walls in various internal and external applications.
- Apply on flooring and walls for internal applications.
- Can be used in external, dry & wet areas, domestic and commercial applications.
- Joint width as per architect/engineer recommendation.
- Always use grout (Normal & Epoxy Grout) between tiles/stones.
- Remove spacers once adhesive is set firm.
Precautions
Important considerations to ensure safety and durability of the installation.
- Use only on concrete surfaces, cement plaster, or brick surfaces.
- Do not apply directly on gypsum plaster, boards, plywood, laminates, metals, or plastics.
- Do not use for artificial/nano/engineered stone, composites, or metal tiles.
- Do not add excess water, sand, or cement at site.
- Protect from direct rainfall and foot traffic for at least 24 hours.
Application Instructions
Ensure the surface and adhesive application is done correctly for best results.
- Surface must be sufficiently flat to achieve specified tiling flatness.
- Suitable for expected service conditions.
- Surfaces must be dry, clean, free from loose material and contamination.
- Surface should be cleaned and roughened before tile/stone installation.
How to Mixing
Proper mixing ensures workability and strength of the adhesive.
- Use approx. 5 – 5.5 L of water for 20 kg of powder.
- Place clean potable water into a clean mixing bowl before adding powder.
- Adjust water for desired consistency but do not exceed recommended limit.
- Leave mixture for 5 minutes before use, then remix for 30 seconds.
- Allow adhesive to polymerize for 2–5 minutes before application.
Note: Coverage will vary depending on trowel notch size, tile type/size, and substrate smoothness. Information is given in good faith based on R&D. Company reserves the right to update instructions without notice.
