Cement Based Grouting
Cement-Based Grout: GC Water Retention Grout is a high-performance, polymer-modified solution designed to provide excellent water resistance and long-lasting durability. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it is ideal for floor and wall joints. This grout is specially formulated for use with glazed wall tiles, porcelain tiles, mosaics, vitrified and fully vitrified tiles, as well as natural and engineered stones. It is recommended for joint widths ranging from 1 mm to 3 mm, ensuring a smooth finish, strong bonding, and reliable performance even in demanding conditions.

Precautions
- Always apply on completely dry tile joints.
- Do not apply on wet or damp tile joints.
- Do not add too much water to the grout.
- Always mix grout in a clean pot.
- Do not add a different colour to the grout.
- While cleaning, frequently change the water.
- Change cleaning cloth/sponge when they are impregnated with grout.
- Do not allow water to flow or run into un-grouted joints during application.
- Allow foot traffic on applied area only after 24 hours.
- Do not use acid to clean joints. Use GC Tile Cleaner for cleaning purpose.
Application Instructions
- Always fill grout after 24 hours of tile installation.
- Ensure there is no dust or debris between the tile joints while grouting.
- Fill the grout at least 3 mm deep.
- Before filling the grout, make sure there is no moisture between the tiles.
- Use masking tape if the tiles or stones are very rough.
How to Mixing
- Take pre-measured water in a clean mixing vessel.
- Add CEMENT POLYMER GROUT to the water and mix until a lump-free, smooth paste of uniform colour is obtained.
- Allow the mix to slake for 2–5 minutes, then remix.
- Do not reconstitute the mixed grout by adding more water, as this will reduce the final strength.
- Do not add excess water.
- Use the paste within 40–50 minutes from mixing time.
